It is Saturday,
time to remove the week's dust
Sam Friedman -- Friedman@nrdi.com -- lives in Highland Park, N.J. He has been published in Canadian Dimension, Edison Literary Review, Haight Ashbury Literary Journal, Home Planet News, Lips, Long Shot, and Paterson Literary Review. He is a two-time winner of the Black Bear Review Poems of Social Concern competition and won Third Prize in the 2002 National Writers Union Poetry Contest. He published one chapbook as a benefit for the North American Syringe Exchange Network (Needles, drugs, and defiance: Poems to organize by, 1999), and edited a second for them, and another a chapbook (Murders most foul: Poems against war by a World Trade Center survivor, 2005) published by the Central Jersey Coalition against Endless War.
