Open Editorial Positions at Identity Theory

Identity Theory, an online literary and cultural journal publishing since 2000, is seeking talented volunteer editors.

Working at Identity Theory provides the rare, valuable opportunity to obtain quality editorial experience in an intellectually stimulating online environment. Words that describe our ideal volunteer editor: passionate, friendly, and exceptional at Scrabble.

The following fully remote editorial positions are available at our magazine:

Visuals Editor

This newly revamped role (you'll be our first visuals editor in a decade!) will involve evaluating visual art submissions, interviewing artists, selecting images for our website and social media properties, and enhancing the design of our publication. Estimated Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per week.

Other Staff Positions

We'd love to hear from anyone with an exceptional level of motivation to develop their creative talents while working on our digital magazine. This may include blogging, graphic design, publicity, or assisting with other editorial or managerial aspects of the publication.
