Angela Jackson-Brown is a graduate of the Spalding University MFA in Creative Writing Program and an Assistant Professor of English at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. Her poems have been published in several print and online publications, including Uptown Mosaic Magazine, 94 Creations, Pet Milk and others. She has also published fiction in journals such as: The Louisville Review, Blue Lake Review, and New Southerner Literary Magazine. One of her stories, “Something in the Wash” was a Pushcart Award nominated story as well as the winner of the New Southerner Literary Magazine Prize in Fiction. In the summer of 2012, her play, Wade in the Water, was professionally read at the University of Louisville.
