Evelyn Berry

Evelyn Berry is an author, performer, editor, and museum educator in South Carolina. She’s the author of the poetry chapbook BUGGERY, recipient of the 2020 BOOM Chapbook Prize from Bateau Press. She’s also the recipient of the Emrys Poetry Prize, KAKALAK Poetry Award, and Broad River Prize for Prose, among other honors. Her work has appeared in Beloit Poetry Journal, Raleigh Review, Gigantic Sequins, Anti-Heroin Chic, Yemassee, and elsewhere. She’s a queso and margarita enthusiast with a penchant for ghost and fairy-type Pokemon.
