The Dancer
A poem by Tabitha Anderson
windy feet caress
what we call
a
floor a stage
disappearing world behind
rhythm and step and this carefree
smile
traffic laws have no place here –
my own roundabout, my ocean
let
me tell you of my days
i could try to talk about it
but it just don’t work
that way
you must come and see
or just fly the kite yourself
