Autumn

A Poem by Cody Boyko

Holding the universe in your hand.
Each planet is nestled among the lines which create the map.
Fingertips are home to the stars that endlessly burn.
Spin the rocks in a sequence which rewinds.
Until the leaves lift from the ground.
Return to the branches which they once where part of.
The colours of brown, orange, and purple slowly fade.
Green seeps back into the once lifeless shape.
Rewind until the depth of six feet does not house
The living that lack breath.
Stars will glow different.
