The Fickle Muse

A poem by Mechelle M. De Craene

Kandinsky
  takes a bow

   exhales
 adagio

then stretches
 back
    sidelong

lapping up hues
  geometric

     Yellow,
    Red,
 Blue,

from a chameleon

that arches
her prismatic
 back

   yawning
at such boredoms.
