Going North From Santa Fe

"howling wolf" here
sitting in as immediate correspondent

madam hennas hair folicles attempting
to lighten her heady load

listening to blues legend
deceased last wk at 57
Luther Allison with his wonderful energy

open boxes, small discoveries of finite possessions locked in small
cubicles,
mundane art works,
gracious blessings gently folded wrapped and rolled until
we release them from a certain frenzy
known as road's radio active captivity
creativity graces and blesses new surroundings

we smudge rooms, windows, doors and entrances
immediately upon arrival at new digs

all we need is a treehouse with certain amenities
suchness southwest rattlesnake said to northwest eagle

weary road travelers depart fried food friday
blasting their collective way through CO UT ID OR
along Columbia WA to Tahoma in nativespeak coast
shrimp, lobstars, muscles, seeweed soup crocked
over fire's embers
pacific sun dips into guacolmole hole in sky breeze waterways

hard to follow an act like that
