Identity Theory is seeking talented volunteer editors who love words and ideas.
Volunteering at Identity Theory provides the rare, valuable opportunity to get quality editorial experience in an intellectually stimulating online environment. Words that describe the ideal volunteer: passionate, friendly, web savvy, and very good at Scrabble.
The following positions are currently available (contact Matt Borondy at editor@identitytheory.com to express your interest):
Fiction Editor – The fiction editor will help acquire quality submissions, read unsolicited work, and polish stories for publication. Time Requirement: 4-6 hours per week.
Poetry Editor – The poetry editor will solicit and evaluate poetry for publication. Time Requirement: 4-5 hours per week.
Others (Graphic Design, Blogging, Copy Editing, etc.) – We want to hear from anyone with a high level of motivation to develop their creative talents while working on our magazine.

Note: Identity Theory is headquartered in Burlington, Vermont, and a good portion of our staff is located in the New England area, so a very slight preference will be given to people in that approximate locale.
