Continuing the weekend TV report, Two shows fine enough to take me away from BookTV last weekend:

The Doles (two Senators) and the Clintons (one Senator, one President) josh at the Kennedy Center. Bob Dole and the Bob Dole Institute reserve part of their missions to increasing civility in politics. I think that is a worthwhile effort. (Watch on real video.)

The lead-singer of the Pakistani band Junoon walks us through a Peshawar madrassa, whirls with dervishes, and sings besides a clapping Pervez Musharraf (monster headdress beats all challengers). (Show's page. Can view there.)

Since both the Bob Dole Institute and Junoon designed their websites with Flash, I can view neither. So I can only speculate which of the two more greatly rocks out.

A Blog to Be Named Later is a group weblog featuring various University of Florida people including Dave Lewis, Jake Hannaway, Eric Spellman, Kayla Spellman, and Matt Borondy. Oh, and now Tom Koch is blogging, too. Unlike the other bloggers, Tom did not attend the University of Florida and is tall.
