Michelle Richmond's books include the novel Dream of the Blue Room (MacAdam/Cage 2003), which was a finalist for the Northern California Book Award, and the story collection The Girl in the Fall-Away Dress (UMass 2001), which won the Associated Writing Programs Award for Short Fiction. Her stories and essays have appeared in Glimmer Train, Exquisite Corpse, Other Voices, 7x7, and elsewhere.
