Caryn McKechnie is a fourth year English and Education Major at Grinnell College. After college, she would like to spend some time in South America, teach, dabble in public radio, and eventually attend graduate school. One of her primary passions is education justice. She is committed to a vision of school as a site for student empowerment and liberation. She believes arts education can help with empathetic and democratic living.
