Sewing & Beer
3. What is one of your prejudices?
Cops
4. In what way do you think music has the ability to change
the way people live their lives?
Positive and Negative...the whole gambit. From "We are the
World" to Satanic Skinhead Records.
5. At what age did you first feel distrust?
When I realized adults suck.
6. Do you think that your name is appropriate for you?
(If not, what name would be more appropriate?)
John Coorz sums it up, but I'm named after my dad's best friend
who died in Vietnam. Appropriate or not, that's what I got to work
with.
7. What is the best piece of music you've ever created,
in your opinion?
Waves. Totally unlistenable terror tone band. The worst piercing
tones the ear can imagine, unmoving.
8. Right now, how are you trying to change yourself?
Running, gym, swimming, reading, meditating, trying to be a better
husband. General self-maintenance.
9. If you had the time, what else would you do?
Read more. Take reed lessons.
10. What social cause do you feel the most strongly about
(negative or positive)?
No comment.
11. What are your fears?
Okinawas Banana spiders. As big a plate, horrible scary things.
Flying at night over water. Like the 16 hour flight to Aussie we
just did. Total white knuckler.
12. What is your favorite joke (tasteful or tasteless)?
It's too early and I'm hung over.

Nick
Tosches, Pynchon, Raymond Chandler, others can't place now....tons...
14. What is your favorite movie?
The Hustler, Tampopo...

Anything by Raven Strain, anything on Fag Tapes, Hanson, Broken
Research, and Michigan Underground jams, Tapeworm label.

The story behind the Pink Chunk "Louie Louie b/w Kitchen
Symphony" single.
17. What is one thing you would like to do/see/accomplish
before you die?
Record and play live with Richard Pinhas. Meet Tosches. Have little
Lilly Olson.
